Principal Engineer

Joshua has a diversified engineering background. While attending the University of Central Florida he majored in Civil Engineering with a focus on Steel and Concrete Structures and a minor in Mathematics. After that, Joshua spent the next four years preparing fully engineered sets of plans for large custom residential homes and low-rise commercial structures throughout the state of Florida. He was then hired as a Senior Engineer for a consulting firm in the Fort Myers area where he quickly became the Engineer of Record on all of the company's active projects and the acting Project Manager for most of the company's restoration jobs.

Mr. Porter now runs all of the day-to-day business operations for the firm and acts as the Engineer of Record for all active projects. In addition to his services as Engineer of Record, he provides Structural Evaluations, Reserve Studies, Forensic Investigations, and Expert Witness services for the firm's clients.
